Cornish Art Gallery - Original Paintings by Cornwall Artists

Cornwall has long been an inspiring place for artists with its dramatic light, coastlines and picturesque harbour towns. Porthleven, a working fishing port and thriving creative community, is no exception. And I’m delighted to have my vibrant original Cornish landscapes displayed at the Cornish Art Gallery, right at the head of Porthleven’s quaint harbour.

My Available Paintings at the Cornish Art Gallery

Currently on display at Cornish Art are my latest paintings from the Windswept Love series, a collection of expressive sky and seascapes capturing the raw beauty and light of Cornwall.

Alongside my work, you’ll also discover original paintings by talented Cornwall artists including Andrew Giddens, Theo Crutchley Mack, Paul Evans, Jon White, Sarah Wimperis and Richard K Blades - each bringing their unique perspective of Cornwall to their paintings. It’s a space that celebrates the diversity and richness of contemporary Cornish art.

Visit Porthleven – A Day Out with Art, Food & Coastal Views

Visiting Cornish Art Gallery is just the beginning of what Porthleven has to offer. Nestled on Cornwall’s south coast, the harbour town combines natural beauty, a lively food scene, and a warm artistic spirit.

  • For art lovers: Start at Cornish Art Gallery on the harbour front, then wander the narrow streets where you’ll find other small galleries and craft shops.

  • For nature seekers: Walk the clifftop paths to Gunwalloe or Loe Bar, a long stretch of white sandy beach that separates the sea from Cornwall’s largest natural freshwater lake. From here, you can explore the Penrose Estate, owned by the National Trust, with trails around the lake and along the dramatic coastline with breathtaking views - from crashing waves on stormy days to calm turquoise seas framed by coastal flowers in summer.

  • For foodies: Opposite the art gallery, you’ll find the award winning Kota Restaurant  known as one of Cornwall’s best-kept secrets. Porthleven also hosts the annual Food Festival and offers plenty of cafés and seafood restaurants.
