As storm clouds rolled in over Trevone Bay, our group gathered in warmth and luxury at the clifftop Atlanta Trevone Bay apartments. From the windows, the Atlantic churned in shades of green and steel-blue, while inside, guests picked up palette knives to capture Cornwall’s raw beauty in oil.
This exclusive painting masterclass formed part of Well Curated Magazine’s influencer retreat - a luxury Cornwall experience hosted in collaboration with Passaro Publicity.
The retreat included some of Cornwall’s most revitalising experiences:

Amongst these experiences, the painting masterclass offered a chance to pause and explore creativity.
Capturing Cornwall's Dramatic Coastline in Oils
Atlanta Trevone Bay has much artistic heritage. Once home to renowned artist JHC Millar, favoured by King George V, its windows overlook the same seascapes of the dramatic coastlines sweeping from Gunver Bay to Padstow and Harlyn.
Following in his footsteps, guests painted as the approaching storm whipped the sea into a palette of soft sea greens, steely blues and muted greys. From the calm of the apartments, they translated the shifting colours of the storm into expressive oil studies using only palette knives.
