Refund Policy

I hope you’ll be delighted with your purchase. But if you change your mind, you can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

Original Paintings & Art Prints

 

I offer 14-day returns on original paintings and unframed paper prints.

Framed prints are not returnable unless they arrive damaged. 

You must request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

 

Kindly note, if your order included a free gift and you're returning the qualifying item, you'll need to return the gift as well. If not, its retail value will be deducted from your refund.

 

Commissions

 

For bespoke commissions I take a 50% non-refundable deposit prior to starting the work.

If you cancel after work has begun, the deposit will be retained, but you're not obliged to pay the balance.

The final 50% payment will be charged when your work is complete before delivery. 

By approving the final commission and making payment, you agree the work is complete and no refund will be issued after delivery.

 

 

How To Return An Item

  • Items to be returned must be returned undamaged and must reach me in a 100% re-saleable condition

  • You are responsible for the postage cost of returning your order and for ensuring that it is repackaged securely to avoid damage in transit. If your order arrives back to me damaged then no refund can be given. 

     

  • Email me at rachel.painter.artist@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your item.

     

  • Include your name, order number, item(s) you'd like to return, and your reason for the return.

     

  • Once accepted, I’ll confirm and share the correct return address.

    Please do not return items to the framer or printer listed on your shipping label, as these cannot receive returns safely and may result in a loss of your purchase.


Processing Returns

 

Once I have received an item you wish to return:  

 

  • I aim to inspect and process returns within 10 days of receiving them.
  • I will let you know that your return has been received and accepted. 
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days of approval.
  • Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the transaction. If more than 15 business days have passed your return was approved, please contact me at rachel.painter.artist@gmail.com

 

     

    Damages and issues

     

    Due to the fact I package with extreme care, damages are extremely rare.

    If your item arrives damaged, please email me with photos (including packaging) within 24 hours so I can arrange a replacement. Reports made after 24 hours may not be eligible for replacement.

    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.

     

    Exceptions / non-returnable items:

     

    The following items cannot be returned:

    • Bespoke or personalised items (e.g., custom sizes or frames)

    • Sale items

    • Gift cards

    • Commissioned artworks (after final approval)
