Cornwall seascape painting by Cornish artist Rachel Painter - a golden sunset with silhouetted tree over a waxy sunlit sea near St Mawes.

Windswept Love No.21 - Original Oil Painting

£695.00 Sale Save

A solitary windswept tree bends gracefully, bathed in golden sunset light, silhouetted before a waxy turquoise sea overlooking Falmouth Bay from the headlands of St. Mawes in Cornwall.

A picture of beauty in resilience - bending, not breaking - it carries a sense of stillness, possibility, and expectancy.

Painted in rich, textured oils, the flicks and flecks of paint capture the shimmering light and serene energy of the coastal landscape. This uplifting Cornish seascape invites hope, freedom, and the joy of your memories by the coast every time you gaze upon it.

Absolutely. If you’d like extra photos, even a short video from my studio, or would like to book a consultation just send me a quick message. I’m also happy to chat through framing ideas, scale, or how the piece might look in different light. I want you to feel completely confident before bringing an artwork home.

Some of my original paintings are also available as fine art prints. If this piece has a print edition, you’ll find it in my Art Prints collection. If not, it means this one is truly one-of-a-kind and only available as the original.

Meet Rachel

I’m Rachel Painter (yes, really my surname!), a British contemporary landscape artist living between the wild Cornish coast and the wide skies of Exmoor. I create original landscape oil paintings that capture the beauty of land and sea in a way that feels both timeless and alive.

Each painting is an invitation to memory, stillness, and hope - from sweeping seascapes and glowing sunsets to quiet woodland paths. Collectors choose my work for its light-filled, contemporary yet soulful style, opening a window to somewhere you love in your home.

My work is represented in art galleries and in homes across the UK and internationally.
