Enys Gardens Bluebells Festival 2025: Dates, Art Exhibition & Oil Painting Classes

Explore Enys Garden Bluebell Festival

There are many gardens in Cornwall with stunning displays of bluebells, but none like Enys Gardens Bluebells Festival 2025. Nestled in the heart of Cornwall, Enys Gardens spanning a 1,000 acres of ancient woodlands, meadows and historic gardens- the crown jewel is Parc Lye.

Each spring, it transforms into a sea of vibrant bluebells, offering a sight that’s both peaceful and awe-inspiring lingering long after you’ve left. It’s easily the size of a football pitch! This year marks my 5th year exhibiting my paintings and offering special painting classes at the festival, and I can’t wait to share this unforgettable experience with you.

Spring Art Exhibition — Paintings Inspired by Cornwall

This festival holds a special place in my heart. For the fifth year, alongside 10 other Cornish artists, I’ll have a selection of framed original oil paintings capturing Cornwall and scenes from along the South West Coast path. These will be available for purchase, alongside my popular mini oil paintings, limited edition prints and greetings cards

One of my favourite things about exhibiting at Enys is getting to meet so many wonderful people—whether you’re an art collector, a fellow creative, or simply someone who loves Cornwall. I always enjoy chatting about painting, light, and the inspiration behind my work, so do come and say hello!

I was fortunate to meet Rachel at her Enys Exhibition. She’s as delightful as her paintings. I love that each painting has a story. The colours she uses and the way she depicts the light makes you feel like you could walk straight into her paintings and never want to leave. It brings me a sense of joy and peace.

“What an incredible class - I had never used oil paints before! This was a unique opportunity to ‘play’ with a new medium in a safe, friendly and inspiring environment. I’m new to painting and a little afraid of colour, but I left feeling enthused and excited. Due to the small class size Rachel, was able to come round to each of us individually and give us suggestions and feedback. This made a huge difference to my confidence and I think gave us all interesting points to think about and develop in our work.”

Practical Things For Your Enys Gardens Visit

Facilities

There is plenty of parking found at the end of the long drive way. Parking attendants will advise you where best to park. A brand new WC block (with a wheelchair-accessible toilet) has been built near the cafe. Dogs on leads welcome!

Practical advice for your visit

Footpaths can be accessed by all, but walking boots are advised if you want to venture off the beaten track.

Access

Enys Gardens is an old historic garden with old pathways which are not always ideal for wheelchair users.  Many of the pathways are unmade and natural and during wet weather can be muddy and difficult to negotiate in a wheel chair.  Wheelchair users are very welcome but some areas of the gardens may not be as accessible as others, especially the pond area which is very steep.

Directions To Enys Gardens
