The Helford River, a series of 7 beautiful creeks, with out a doubt has been a source of inspiration to many - most notably author Daphne Du Maurier’s ‘Frenchman Creek’.
Whilst submerged in it’s deep blue waters, the Helford River has inspired many of my sunset paintings lately. But it’s also a location that inspired No.1 best selling author, Sam Blake, who came up with the inspiration for one of her books ‘The Dark Room’.
She purchased a limited edition art print of ‘Paved In Light’ for her home to celebrate that significant moment in one of her favourite places in Cornwall.
